One of the world’s most advanced airports, Heathrow is easily accessible by Tube, train (via the Heathrow Express with direct link to Paddington station), or by taxi. The newly opened Elizabeth line provides direct access to central London in about 30 minutes. It is operated by Transport for London and part of the Oyster card and contactless ticketing system.
London Gatwick Airport
In 2019, London Gatwick (LGW) sent 46.6 million customers on their way making it the UK’s second largest airport. The Gatwick Express is a direct train service linking the airport to the centrally located Victoria station in 30 minutes. Thameslink and Southern rail operators also offer train services from Gatwick to several central London stations within 30 minutes.
London Stansted Airport

London City Airport
Located in the east side of the city, London City Airport (LCY) is the smallest airport in London. Its single runway handles short-haul flights with a strong emphasis on business travel to Europe. It is the closest airport to central London, with easy access via the DLR network, as well as taxis. It is also the closest airport to London’s largest convention centre, ExCeL London.
